Handheld Pen Type Meters

We have specially developed an accurate, high performance and multipurpose handheld meter for on field analyses of parameters pH, TDS, Conductivity, and ORP. These meters measure temperature and are available with a single electrode to measure all the parameters. The meters has a multi parameter option i.e. same meter can analyse ORP by just connecting an ORP electrode. Understanding the need of a multi parameter meter for onsite use, we have designed a compact, spill proof & high performance Multi parameter Handheld Meter.

A TDS Meter indicates the amount of total dissolved solids (TDS) in a solution. Since dissolved ionized solids like salts and minerals contribute to the conductivity of a solution, a TDS Meter measures the conductivity of the solution then converts that figure to an estimated TDS reading. They are known for ascertaining fast and accurate measurement of total dissolved solids in given liquids. This instrument is ideal for testing liquids like natural water, drinking water, treated water, waste water, brine solution, sea water and soluble salt content in liquids.

Commonly used in hydroponics, aquaculture and freshwater systems to monitor the amount of nutrients, salts or impurities in the water. ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) is a term used frequently in the water treatment & food processing industry. It is a measure of the cleanliness of the water & its ability to break down contaminants. ORP sensors work by measuring the dissolved oxygen i.e. if contaminants in the water are more it results in less dissolved oxygen because the organics are consuming the oxygen and the ORP level is low. The higher the ORP level, the more ability the water has to destroy foreign contaminants such as microbes, or carbon based contaminants. ORP level can also be viewed as the level of bacterial activity of the water because a direct link occurs between ORP level and Coli form count in water. This instrument is ideal for testing liquids like natural water, drinking water, treated water, waste water, brine solution, sea water and soluble salt content in liquids.
